I made these icons and gifs for the Golden Oldies challenge at landofart (which by the way is fabulous and you should all go join). The point of the challenge was to make graphics from our childhood favorites; nothing after 1999. I chose the movie Simon Birch as my subject. I went through a phase, fueled by a crush on Joseph Mazzello, where I was obsessed with that movie and would watch it every afternoon after I got home from school. I hadn't seen it in a long time until I capped/watched the movie for this challenge, and I'm happy to report it holds up very well (and I'm not ashamed to say that I bawled my fucking eyes out at the end for the billionth time).

Less than a month and I'm posting again, yippee!! The Bambi icons are a few months old, but the rest of this batch is newly minted. I actually tried to do some different stuff with these, try new techniques, use more textures, etc., etc.. Pretty proud of some of them tbh.
